I'm not sure which of the two I like more. The older one looks very strong and reliable, but I like the younger one's design.
The clothes look good in my opinion. I like the little details, such as even adding things like the shoe laces and belt loops. It looks to me like you really thought this out.

Many thanks. I think of all my characters Ponf has really developed the most since I started working on this story. He's always been one of my favorites, though I never did a whole lot with him before...I'm trying to remedy that XD

I'm curious now, as there's not a lot of info out there on any of your characters.
I've far too many with that problem as well. (Heck, I don't even draw them. XD) Even though I don't have a lot of the background information, it's fun to imagine what everyone's story about.

Don't know if you've ever seen Slayers, but I'd initially made Ponf to be more of the dumb sidekick, much like Gourry (a complete idiot, but amazing in battle). I'd quickly (if inadvertently) changed him into a more intelligent character and just recently I started working more on his backstory of the days when he was a mercenary during the war.
Lol. Although it seems like all I ever draw are these guys, at the same time I know I don't even draw them nearly as much as I should
